In this episode of MorgsBrew I detail the process used for bottling our home brew pineapple beer. THIS IS A SIMPLE RECIPE and it can vary greatly. Be careful but don’t be OCD! Look after your yeast Sugar does not equal sugar
In this episode, I prepared a step by step recipe for pineapple beer so that you can follow along from home. Once you have it fermenting you need to wait 7 - 9 days before bottling out. This is the time that the yeast used to smash all the sugar and poo your bucket full of ethanol. Mine batches have been coming out at between 4.5 % and 6.5 % ABV after this first stage and they only get better in the bottles while they settle out.
In this episode of Morgs Brew, we will be modifying the Ultimate DIY Ram Pump pressure system. The ram pump journey started as a simple video my dad shared with me as a way to easily get water to some old trees. This idea evolved into something much bigger and the journey we have shared has been well worth any grey hairs earned.
Cut the most important part, then you have to weld it back together! Learning to weld takes time behind a stick but if you are not prepared behind a stick, then learning to weld will take a toll on your motivation. Being prepared for the job is just a big part of welding. Getting the metal surfaces clean and ready for new metal is the other. In this episode, I have started one of the many ‘farm jobs’ that requires my time. The gyro mower needs some bodywork while her gearbox is being serviced. I decided to use this opportunity to take you through the steps of how to get started welding your own projects. Sometimes it is best to just jump into the deep end and learn to swim.
